Cookie Encore
Girls...join us on stage for an
ENCORE PERFORMANCE to surpass your cookie
program goals and celebrate success!
The following are great tools to add to your
Cookie Program marketing plan in the coming
weeks.
|

 |
Join the "I Called Back" Program
Purchasers are
eager to get their favorite cookies while they are available and almost
always purchase when asked more than
once!
All girls
who sell an additional 40 boxes of cookies
during the reorder/booth sale phase of the
cookie program will receive the new "I
Called Back" Patch. Contact customers
who have already purchased cookies and
encourage them to reorder additional boxes
while they last!

E-mail Family and Friends
E-mail your family and friends to remind them that "It's Girl
Scout Cookie Time" and that cookies are offered now for only a limited
time. Remind your family and friends that they can also purchase
cookies as a gift for someone or purchase cookies for your Gift of
Caring Project, such as Operation Gratitude.
Below are e-mail templates you can
customize and send to family and friends.
Be a
Goal-Getter!
Have a spectacular cookie selling season! Out of room on your
order card? Download a Goal-Getter
Cookie Order Form Card to take additional orders during the reorder
phase of the cookie program.
Host a Cookie Party
You can help launch the latest "in-home" party trend
by hosting a Girl Scout Cookie Party for family or friends! The
Cookie Party provides a unique opportunity for girls and their
families to enjoy an easy and fun way to sell more cookies. A
one-hour cookie party will get your customers tasting, purchasing
and helping you reach your cookie program goals!
Host a party for family, friends, your sports team, a nonprofit or club
you are involved with, or people from your school or
church. Whether it’s large or small, your Cookie Party
will be fun for everyone and will boost your cookie
sales!
Host a Milk & Cookies Break for a
Business
Approach small
businesses, large corporations and nonprofit
organizations to sponsor a MILK & COOKIES Break
as:
- a "thank you" to their employees and/or
customers,
- a promotion to increase visibility, or
- a donation to a worthy charitable organization.
The company would purchase cookies from you or your
troop for this activity. As an additional option, your
troop could give a presentation about the Cookie
Program, America’s leading business and economic
literacy program for girls, during the Milk and Cookies
Break. Guests can be invited to purchase additional
boxes! Mt. Wilson Vista Council will provide the milk.

Cookie University Online Extension
Over 200 Girl
Scouts prepared for the Annual Girl Scout Cookie Program at Cookie
University during the 2008 Girl Scout Kaleidoscope in January.
Geared toward Entrepreneurial Junior, Cadette & Senior Girl Scouts,
the new program offered a series of short, fun & interactive
sessions on a variety of cookie program-related topics.
If you missed
this year’s event, take advantage of the
“Cookie University Online Extension” on the GSMWVC Web site
(under Cookie Program Resources),
www.gsmwvc.org, and download some of the great materials that
will help girls “make it a hit” this cookie season. |
